MAASDIJK – Beekenkamp Ornamentals is going all out during Flower Trials to celebrate its 75th anniversary. Visitors are taken on an inspiring journey back in time, highlighting the company’s rich history and craftsmanship, while also looking ahead to the future. As a reliable and stable family business, innovation, continuity, and sustainability have been the common thread for generations.
A real highlight this year is the focus product Petunia Tea. In a presentation with a true wow factor, several new Petunia Tea Upright varieties will be introduced. This series stands out thanks to strong USPs: a compact line, no need for pinching, day-length neutrality, a high number of plants per square meter, and fast flowering with good leaf volume. A future-oriented concept that perfectly meets the needs of professional growers, retail, and trade.
There is also plenty to discover in the well-known Trial Garden of Beekenkamp Ornamentals. Visitors can once again expect the latest innovations, surprising mixed pots, and a specially arranged row of products available for testing ahead of the next season. With this, Beekenkamp Ornamentals demonstrates that experience and innovation go hand in hand—already for 75 years, with a clear vision for the future.
During Flower Trials in week 24, the Fleurostar is traditionally awarded: the prize for the plant with the greatest wow factor and commercial appeal. This year, Beekenkamp Ornamentals stands a strong chance with Petunia Tea Rosette Blend. This remarkable petunia from the High Tea series stands out for its soft, creamy petals and deep purple-pink center. The subtle color changes throughout the season create a striking overall appearance.
Visitors are warmly invited to admire this Fleurostar contender, as well as all other varieties in our tent, during Flower Trials from June 9 to 12, 2026, at Beekenkamp Ornamentals, Korte Kruisweg 157 in Maasdijk. The doors are open from Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
