MAASDIJK – During the Flower Trials in week 24, visitors to our Trial Garden were able to vote for their favorite varieties. And they certainly did! Thanks to over 1,200 votes and a colorful Trial Garden featuring 470 different varieties, we were able to produce a great, representative result.
The conditions were challenging and varied: from tropical temperatures above 30 degrees to heavy rain showers, hail, and thunderstorms. So the plants were truly tested under “real-life” conditions, exactly as they’ll be in consumers’ homes.
What stands out in the results is that Begonia, Dahlia, and Petunia varieties appeared multiple times in the top 10. Below are the absolute favorites:
